If you accept in the cookie notice, Google Analytics 4 is enabled through Google Tag Manager. From that point, aggregated usage data is recorded:

• Pages you visit and how long you spend on them.
• Where you arrived from (search engine, link, social network).
• Device type, browser, language and screen size.
• An approximate location derived from your IP. Google Analytics 4 does not store the full IP address.

• You are never asked for personal data: there are no forms, no accounts, no newsletter.
• There is no advertising and there are no advertising cookies. Advertising and personalisation consent stays denied whether you accept or not.
• No data is sold or shared beyond the measurement provider described here.
• No profiling and no automated decisions are made about you.

For measurement, your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Until you give it, Google consent mode starts denied and no analytics tag runs.

For serving and protecting the site, legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). The hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses for as long as needed to deliver pages and filter malicious traffic. That happens on every visit, because without it the site cannot be served at all.

Before you decide, this site stores nothing at all in your browser.

• Your cookie decision is kept in local storage under the key "rl-consent". It is not a cookie and it is never sent to a server: it stays on your device.
• If you accept, Google Analytics sets its measurement cookies (the _ga and _ga_* ones), used to tell visits and sessions apart.
• If you reject, no measurement cookie is set.

Event data retention is configured in the Google Analytics 4 property and only allows two values: 2 or 14 months. If you need to know which one is active right now, write to me and I will tell you.

Google Analytics cookies expire on their own, and you can delete them from your browser whenever you want.

Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager are provided by Google. Processing may involve transfers to the United States. Google states that it adheres to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and offers standard contractual clauses as an additional safeguard.

If that alone is reason enough for you not to allow measurement, reject in the notice: the site works exactly the same.

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability by writing to the contact address above.

• You can withdraw your consent whenever you want, with the button at the end of this page. Withdrawing it does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
• If you believe your data is not being handled properly, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country. The European Data Protection Board website lists every national authority.

If what is measured or how it is measured changes, this page and the review date above are updated. No new measurement is switched on without asking you again.
